AFE strives to produce the highest quality fish; employing the best husbandry techniques to ensure the fish are healthy and without stress. Tailored feeding strategies are implemented to ensure the fish are in optimum condition when harvested.

Our rigorous standards are applied at each stage of the supply chain from catching the fish, to harvesting, processing and supply. As well as its own internal monitoring, AFE is regularly inspected to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.

AFE was one of the first fishing companies in the world to be certified against the international standards for management systems: – ISO 9001 (quality assurance) – ISO 22000 & HACCP (food safety) – ISO 14001 (environmental management) – AS 4801 (OHS management)
